General Information

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Facility: Wesley Medical Center
• Location: 550 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67214 (Building 3, 2nd Floor)

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Required Skills: Must be able to circulate C-sections.
• Preferred Skills: More than 2 years of L&D experience and high-risk LDR experience are preferred.
  
  

Unit & Patient Details

• Unit: Labor and Delivery (Unit 70810)
• Number of Beds: 26
• Staffing:
• Day Shift: 1 CNC (Team Lead), 14 nurses, 2-3 Surgical Technicians, 2 Unit Clerks
• Night Shift: 1 CNC (Team Lead), 12 nurses, 2 Surgical Technicians, 1 Unit Clerk
• Patient Ratios:
• 1:1 for high-risk labor & C-sections
• 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, and postpartum on magnesium
• 1:3 for postpartum (magnesium, no baby) and outpatients
• EMR: CPN gold, Meditech
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN (GE) monitor
• Procedures: C-sections, Inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler
